Standard Poodle

Our Breeding Program

At Élevage Bouton d’Or, we raise our dogs with passion, respect, and a great deal of love. Our breeding program is family-oriented, focused on the well-being, balance, and quality of life of each dog, within environments that are adapted and attentive to their needs.

We place great importance on health, temperament, and socialization. Each litter is carefully planned, with respect for bloodlines, in order to offer well-balanced puppies that are confident, stable, and happy.

We are members of the Canadian Kennel Club (CKC) and adhere to responsible breeding practices.

Our goal is not quantity, but quality — for the well-being of our dogs and the peace of mind of the families who place their trust in us.

Our Dogs

Our dogs are at the heart of Élevage Bouton d’Or. Each one is considered, first and foremost, a family dog, with special attention given to both physical and emotional well-being.

They receive a daily homemade diet prepared with carefully selected, high-quality ingredients. This is complemented with Canadian-made dog food, providing a balanced combination of grains, meats, fruits, and vegetables, to fully meet their nutritional needs.

We select our breeding dogs for their stable temperament, good health, and overall balance, while respecting breed standards. Regular veterinary care and attentive monitoring are an integral part of our approach.

The Puppies

Our puppies grow up in a stimulating and nurturing environment, promoting healthy development and confidence from their very first weeks of life.

Before leaving for their new homes, puppies:

  • are handled daily
  • are accustomed to car rides
  • visit public places in a gradual and safe manner
  • learn basic training, including sit, no biting, and early house-training foundations

We work diligently to give each puppy an excellent start, both behaviorally and socially.

Each puppy is placed:

  • in good health and free of parasites (fleas, mites, worms, etc.)
  • microchipped
  • registered as a companion pet only, with no breeding rights
  • born from healthy breeding parents
  • dewormed multiple times
  • having received standard vaccinations
  • with a health and vaccination record issued by a licensed veterinarian, provided to the family at the time of adoption

Puppy Starter Kit

Each puppy leaves our breeding program with a starter kit, which includes:

  • a blanket carrying the scent of its mother, to help ease the transition
  • a bag of food, to ensure dietary continuity in the new home
  • treats, for positive reinforcement and bonding moments
  • a favorite toy, to provide comfort and help with adjustment to the new environment

Upcoming Litters

We carefully plan our litters, always respecting the rhythm and well-being of our dogs. Information regarding upcoming litters, approximate timelines, and availability will be shared on our Facebook page once a litter is confirmed.
